"Went in for breakfast. Lovely friendly staff, they were happy to change my toast from sourdough to "normal". Meals came up real quick. Everything was cooked to perfection and the smaller breakfast was just the right size. So why the loss of a star? Clipper Tea was well advertised, my favourite de-caf which I have at home, the tea bag was taken from the Clipper de-caf Tea Tin and it was ......... Tetleys, not very Dorset, a bit of a let down."

"The Dorset Kitchen is absolutely perfect! The restaurant is light, airy and tidy. All members of staff were very polite and helpful during our visit for breakfast, on the 8th April. We ordered 2 full breakfast’s - one with poached eggs and the other with fried. Every ingredient on both plates was fresh and cooked to PERFECTION. We then ordered some cake to take away which was delicious too. I thoroughly recommend The Dorset Kitchen - hope to be back soon!"

"Had lunch here, very nice bacon brie and cranberry panini with a side salad. Cooked and propared nicely. Pot of tea could of been a little better (water could of been hotter) but a good cuppa nonetheless. Will be back again."

"Had foccietta and ham and mozzarella. Staff said we could take some home if couldn't eat it. What we didn't realise was sandwich twice the size of that in cabinet. Being greedy and delicious we both eat it all."
